The Undersea & Hyperbaric Medicine Program of Baromedical Associates and Doctors Medical Center services the medical needs of the northern California diving community.
Baromedical Associates is the prominent diving medicine medical group practice and Doctors Medical Center is the diving medical center for the San Francisco California Bay Area. This department services the medical needs for both the commercial and recreational diving community.
This website was designed to educate the medical and diving communities as to proper pre-dive medical examination, identification, and treatment of possible diving injuries.
Medical Services available to the diving community include:
- Fitness to dive evaluations
- Diving injury evaluation and treatment
- Medical clearance for returning to diving following injury
- Hyperbaric therapy for decompression sickness or "the bends"
